Yes, as this will help reduce delays in fulfilling your enquiry or enrolment process.




When is the next course starting and how often do courses run?


SORT's business+ Certificate III is ongoing with the ability for rolling intakes. Please complete the Expression of Interest form and we will inform you of the next available course placements.




What if I miss a lesson?


The program has rolling intakes, making it possible to catch up at a later date.




Can I enrol if I have other qualifications?


Yes, please complete the Expression of Interest form and we can advise you about recognition for prior learning and/or funding options.




What happens after I submit my Expression of Interest form?


Completion of the Expression of Interest form does not lock you into a course placement, it is simply to enable an efficient enrolment process or answer any of your questions. Once received, we will communicate with you and provide information about your learning needs and requirements.




Is there parking or public transport options?


We're centrally located at West End, Brisbane, with many public transport options available. The Blue Cityglider 60 bus stops in Mollison Street, and is a flat 10-minute walk to the SORT Hub. The South Bank train station is a 18-minute walk. Refer to www.translink.com.au for more information. Alternatively, bicycle racks are available. 2-hour and metered street parking encircles our premises, unfortunately we do not have onsite parking.




Do I need a computer or printer?


A computer or printer is not imperative although is beneficial in completing assessment work.




When and how do I pay for the course?


These details will be provided upon the completion of the Expression of Interest form in addition to information regarding funding eligibility options. Payment would be required after the enrolment process is completed, and can be performed via typical payment methods.




Who is Footsteps and The Learning Collaborative, and what do they do?

What days is the course and how long does it go for?


Lessons and hands-on training is delivered on Mondays and Tuesdays, over a 26-week period. Additional learning opportunities and support are available over a variety of days, including weekends.




Can I enrol if I have attended or enrolled in other types of courses?


The information provided via Expression of Interest form will help us gauge your possibilities in enrolment and funding.
